Day 6: Finally, a night of sleep.

This is a song I wrote when I was 5 called "Oh the Hummingbird." I decided it'd be a fun thing to put it to guitar. What kind of title is that anyway? What kind of 5 year old was I?? And i distinctly remember not knowing what "slack" meant at the time, so don't get too impressed by my vocabulary. ;)

I'm back home in Mission Viejo, CA now. I am sitting feet away from my bed and am completely stoked at the idea of sleeping again.

Tonight I played a 4 hour set at the Irvine Spectrum promoting for the contest. I met some awesome and entertaining people there. It had been a really long time since I'd played a show because I've been battling a cold since before Thanksgiving, but tonight reminded me how much I had missed this, and how much I NEED it in my life. It was so fun.

After the show I was called by the lovely folks at Lost Cause Radio to do a little live interview between playing my songs "Strong Enough" and "Message From My Heart." They were awesome and I am so excited I got a chance to speak with them on the show!

Today I'm playing at the Irvine Spectrum again from 1-5PM in Myrtle's Court, so stop by if you're in the area!
