I remember that song! :)
well, the way it sounded, not the words themselves really. it wasn't really in your regular set list for all the gigs I saw....

Also cool snakes! you never told me you had snakes :P

and Doritos is going to keep you in suspense like that by letting you know who won immediately before the video plays? very exciting!

weird, just noticed that my link is the same as the other. but that one didn't work for me at first, but now it does?

oh well.... it's clickable now! nice for everybody :)

love the new video...you start off my day @ work on a good note

anyways nothing wrong with having snakes...people think i'm weird b/c i have a "small animal farm" in my house..lol...from rats, to hamsters to chinchillas..

most people @ first are scared of my rats but then they love them after they start petting and playing with them...i'm sure that's the same with your pet snakes

Thanks for letting me know about the song from the last blog...I hope it will be on your next album!

This was another great song. And though I am deathly afraid of snakes...yours did look friendly..lol..if its possible for them to look friendly..IDK.

I am glad to hear you are almost completely better. Good luck at your two shows. If I lived anywhere near Where they are I would go. But yeah that a 30 hours drive (i know this cause I mapquested freom here to there for GH Fan CLub Weekend in July)

well I gotta go finish getting ready for class....first day back to school since winter break...it totally sucks.

oh and I watched the little video and read the little article that you gave us the link to yesterday...very cool...Thanks.

Jen

Woo I was on the news! How did Fox hear about you?

NO SALAD FINGERS!!!

Also, did you rerecord the song for the video? It sounded different in the "Making Of" video.

Salad Fingers FTW!

Anyways, beautiful song! And congrats on the news!

Nice to hear you're feeling better.

And lovely snakes. I never quite saw why people were so horrified of them. Especially the ones that don't really pose much of a threat to you unless you somehow manage to get one lodged in your throat. Out of curiosity, what kind of snakes are those?

EVIL!

Nah just kidding. The snakes are awesome, especially their names. Great song today and yesterday's as well. Every song you write seems to have a pretty deep meaning to it. It's nice for a change.

Good luck this week!

Cool Fox video! Since you listed who you sound like on there, I'll say that I also thought I heard some Lisa Loeb in your music, particularly in "Sincerely, Me". Maybe an influence once or twice removed?

Glad you're back singing the last couple of days! You don't seem like you're going to have a shortage of songs for your next CD.

Hey Kina!
I started playing a piano background on Message from your Heart and it sounds quite good. It adds to the harmonics of the song lightly (it's a soft song anyway) and I hope I can find a way to let you hear it in the not too distant future. I just need to find a trick since I don't have the original song other than in streaming. But I'm sure I'll come up with something on Myspace.
The snakes are cool. I have kids. That's basically the same (you love them, but they make it hard for you to play music) though kids are noisier ;-)
Loads of love and support from France.
Ooops, I've gotta vote today!

Hey, in your response to a question about the camera a few posts ago you mentioned the "Red 31". Could that possibly be the "Red One"?

http://www.red.com/cameras

If so, it was a camera designed by an offshoot of Oakley of sunglasses fame. The head of Oakley is a real big fan of lens technology and wanted to create a camera capable of Hollywood quality shots at consumer-capable prices. The "Red One" is the first camera they created. I believe Peter Jackson used it to film one of his recent movies (King Kong???).

@ eric in nh

From what I've found they are different.

A pic of the red 31:
http://red31.com/

And a pic of the red one:
http://redone4rent.com/

Looks like the Red One is probably more advanced just on appearances, but from this page (http://www.reduser.net/forum/archive/index.php/t-4844.html) it looks like when you hook the 31 up to computers and monitors you've got a very advanced setup regardless - but specs aren't out there that I've found. From what the reduser people are pairing it with I assume it does at least high-def, but probably not 4K like the Red One.

Kina! landon's being featured on youtube! you should try to contact them and see if they can get you on there in fairness, or something. :)

I don't think there's really all that much to worry about with Landon's song on YouTube, yeah it's at over 70,000 views but the response is so-so. Personally I think his submission song was better, and it's not as catchy as "Gotta Digg".

Kina all the way! :D

Wasn't there supposed to be an "LA Trip-Part 2"? or was the making of the video actually the parts 2 and 3? Don't you dare leave any details out.

Hey Kina,

Just catching up on your posts, after 4 days in the NZ bush tramping :-) Sorry I couldn't vote. Myspace didn't agree with the browser on my mobile :-(

Loved this song, curious about the psuedo Kiwi accent. Where was I while you were studying down here....

Best of luck. You're welcome back to NZ anytime :-)
